Bruce has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Elmira College and a master’s degree in Healthcare administration from The George Washington University, Washington, DC. He has completed a program on strategic planning by the Wharton School of Business from the University of Pennsylvania. He is also an adjunct faculty member with the Chinese European International Business School in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China to teach hospital management and to expand their executive development program in hospital administration. He currently resides in San Marco with his wife Laura Dolato.
For the past twenty years, Mr. Krider has served as a consultant in hospital accreditation for a Chicago-based hospital accreditation organization which involved surveying all areas of hospital management, medical staff administration, physical plant and most hospital departments. He is currently on the Boards of Directors for the Palomar Pomerado Health and the Palomar Pomerado Health Foundation.
Mr. Krider has served as a management system development specialist for the Kellogg Foundation Grant program called Operation Outreach. He was the Chief Operating Officer at Saginaw Osteopathic Hospital for three years and President of Grand Traverse Regional Healthcare Systems for 7 years. He was appointed by the Governor of Michigan to serve on the State Health Planning Committee to develop organizational development criteria for rehabilitation facilities, as well as working with congressional leaders in changing the government’s hospital payment policies (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985).
He is in the process of establishing the International Association of Healthcare Management, a professional society for those working in hospital administration, in China. |
