Bruce Hinman joined the company in 1992 as Director Contracts & Strategic Business Unit Development for the former Flight Safety & Communications Group in Canada and was promoted to Vice President Strategic Development in 1997. He joined the former DRS Surveillance & Reconnaissance Group in Melbourne Florida as Vice President Contracts & Export Control in 2004. He came to Corporate Office as Vice President Compliance in January 2007 with responsibility for coordinating the corporate level review and approval process for domestic and international agreements as well as for the establishment of a robust compliance program to ensure DRS management and employees are confirming to the rules of regulatory agencies and company policies and procedures. Bruce has more than 25 years experience in government and industry in international trade policy contracts exports and compliance. Mr. Hinman earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Economics at the University of Lethbridge and pursued graduate studies in international business and international affairs at Queen’s University and Carleton University |
