Mr. Cozadd has served as a member of our Board since November 2001. He serves as Executive Chairman of Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a pharmaceutical company that he co-founded in 2003. Mr. Cozadd was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ALZA Corporation, a pharmaceutical company, from 2000 until 2001, and held various management positions at ALZA from 1991 to 2000, including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Previously, he was a member of the health care investment banking team at Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Co. Mr. Cozadd currently serves on the boards of directors of Threshold Pharmaceuticals, a biotechnology company, Nueva School and Stanford Hospital and Clinics, both non-profit institutions, and is a member of the Stanford Molecular Imaging Advisory Board. |
