Mr. Shear has served as a member of our Board of Directors since June 2003, and was the Audit Committee independent financial expert from August 2003 until January 19th, 2005. Mr. Shear is the co-founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of PHC, Inc., a publicly traded nationally recognized behavioral health company. Mr. Shear has served PHC since 1979. Prior to his current position, Mr. Shear served as vice president of financial affairs. Mr. Shear has served on the Board of Governors of the Federation of American Health Systems for over 15 years. In addition, Mr. Shear previously served on the Board of Trustees for the National Association of Psychiatric Health Systems, which represents the nation's behavioral health hospitals and organizations. Mr. Shear received an MBA from Suffolk University in 1980 and a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Marquette University in 1976. |
