A. Bruce Moore, Jr. is Chief Operating Officer Outpatient Services for Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA, the nation’s leading provider of healthcare services. He is responsible for daily operations of HCA’s Outpatient Services. The group was created in January 2003 to bring a new, stronger focus to non-hospital based outpatient services, and to leverage the vast growth opportunities for this business in HCA’s existing market areas.
Moore joined HCA as a staff auditor in 1982. He served the company in a variety of roles, including Vice President of Compensation and Vice President of Benefits, before assuming the position of Vice President, Operations Administration in 1997. Moore was named to his current position of Chief Operating Officer Outpatient Services in July of 2004.
Moore is a member of the HCA Foundation, Ensworth School Board of Directors and the Martha O’Bryan Center.
A native of Laurel, Miss., Moore received a bachelor’s degree in finance from The University of Mississippi. He resides in Nashville with his wife Karen and their three children. Moore was born on February 21, 1960. |
