Mr. Pierce brings over 20 years of experience in the gaming industry and is responsible for coordinating marketing activities for all of the divisions of Scientific Games, specializing in international opportunities. He is also actively involved in the identification and evaluation of target acquisition candidates for the company.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Pierce was President of Scientific Games Racing from 1997-2004, which included the North American Totalisator service business, European Totalisator business, Communications Simulcasting Services business, and NASRIN Telecommunications business.
Mr. Pierce started his career at Autotote, the predecessor company to Scientific Games in 1991. Prior to becoming President, Mr. Pierce was Vice President of Sales where he was responsible for directing the sales effort for all of North America and was instrumental in significantly increasing market share for Autotote Systems. He had joined Autotote from A.R.A. Services, Inc. where he was a regional sales director.
Mr. Pierce holds a B.A. degree from the University of Delaware and has completed the Senior Executive Program at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
