Experience:
Britt Miller is a partner in the Chicago office where she focuses on antitrust litigation and complex commercial litigation.
In the antitrust field, Britt represents domestic and international corporations in price-fixing, market allocation, monopolization, and conspiracy cases, and counsels clients on general antitrust issues. She has experience in both federal and state court systems as well as with governmental agencies, including the US Department of Justice. Since joining Mayer Brown in 1998, Britt has been involved in numerous antitrust cases including In re Vitamins Antitrust Litigation, one of the largest antitrust cases ever filed in the US.
Britt also advises on general complex commercial litigation matters including contract disputes, constitutional rights, securities fraud, airline deregulation, products liability, and trust interpretation.
Britt co-authored the "United States" chapter in both the 2007 and 2008 edition of Global Competition Review's "Private Antitrust Litigation" treatise and is a contributing author to West's Illinois Civil Discovery Practice. She is a member of the American Bar Association's Section of Antitrust Law and the Section of Litigation and has recently been named a "Rising Star" in Antitrust Litigation in the 2008 edition of the Illinois Super Lawyers list published by Law & Politics.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Britt served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable George M. Marovich, US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (1997).
