Mrs. Arrieta-Rivera's practice includes general civil and commercial litigation in both state and federal courts.
Experience
Before joining McConnell Valdés, Mrs. Arrieta-Rivera worked as a Law Clerk to Hon. Judge Juan M. Pérez-Giménez at the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. During law school, she worked as a student law clerk to Hon. Judge Jay A. García-Gregory of the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the University of Puerto Rico Law Review and worked as a summer associate at McConnell Valdés LLC in 2002.
Education
Mrs. Arrieta-Rivera earned her Bachelor's Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies, Magna Cum Laude, with minors in Justice Systems, Marketing, and Education, from Sacred Heart University in 2000. She was awarded the Highest Grade Point Average Medal for her program. She obtained a Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from the Univeristy of Puerto Rico in 2003. In 2001, she participated in the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition where she served as team captain.
