Brigid Breslin is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery UK LLP, based in its London office. She is a member of the Corporate Department, where her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and private equity. She also advises on a wide range of corporate and finance transactions, as well as giving day to day general advice on matters of company law. She has extensive experience in relation to reductions of capital, schemes of arrangement, joint ventures, management buy-outs, restructurings, flotations, UK domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, rights issues and the setting up and marketing of investment funds. Brigid advises extensively on the Companies Act 2006 and in relation to European Company law directives and regulations.
