Bridget L. Spruill is the Manager of Quality Assurance at Dimensions International, Inc. (DI) and is responsible for driving the quality strategy for the organization.
She is responsible for the overall quality functions and must assure that they are in concert with the business goals and objectives of the corporate Quality Management System (QMS). In this capacity, she maintains and enforces all necessary policies and procedures as it relates to the corporate Quality function across the company, and has been successful in ensuring our continued ISO 9001:2000 certification.
Ms. Spruill performs periodic site visits to branch office locations, conducts Internal Audits and oversees semi-annual Surveillance Audits. In addition, she works closely with the Chairman, Contracts, Business Development, Human Resources and other departments in an effort to ensure that the DI QA certification is a viable element in obtaining and retaining business. In addition, she is a member of the DI Management Board, the Benefits Committee, and is Chairperson of the Executive Quality Assurance Council.
Prior to being appointed Manager of Quality Assurance, Ms. Spruill acted as a private Consultant on several significant projects, including assisting The White House Office of Public Liaison with the creation and implementation of an African American Outreach Initiative plan for President George W. Bush. In her consultant capacity, she also provided administrative, management, and strategic consultation to the African American Leadership Committee, Humphrey International, Inc., and The George Washington University, Graduate School of Education and Human Development.
Ms. Spruill was also the Special Assistant to the founder of Dimensions International, Chairman Emeritus and Senior Advisor, Dr. Robert L. Wright. In this capacity, she was responsible for providing administrative, technical and editorial assistance. Ms. Spruill also acted as his liaison with political affiliations, provided logistical management of the Board of Directors, and the event management and planning of several political fundraisers and receptions, including a reception to celebrate the Presidential Inauguration. In addition, Ms. Spruill assisted Dr. Wright on the National Museum of African American History and Culture Plan For Action Presidential Commission, and the Sub-Saharan Africa Advisory Committee of the Export-Import Bank of the United States. |
