Bridget manages relationships with RecycleBank's business vendors and sponsors, and works to promote those businesses through our many avenues of reaching the public. Prior to RecycleBank, Bridget was the Co-Director of the White Dog Café Foundation and the Buy Fresh Buy Local Campaign. Through the Buy Fresh Buy Local, Bridget created a campaign that uses business as a means for positive change by working with food enterprises to purchase local, sustainable food products, and by changing buying habits of consumers. Bridget has spoken nationally on Buy Local Marketing Campaigns and is featured in a National Training Manual for Buy Local Campaigns. Before moving to Philadelphia in 2001, Bridget worked with the Center for a New American Dream in Washington DC promoting sustainable consumption and with Growing Power in Milwaukee, WI on VermiComposting. Bridget received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a focus on Sustainable Development and Agriculture. |
