Brian F. Wells, Corporate Director - Process Improvement Brian Wells draws on his more than 30 years of experience developing and managing acute and post-acute healthcare facilities in his role as Corporate Director of Process Improvement. Brian works with the hospital CEOs and top leaders to fulfill SHA's Focused Center of Medical Excellence (FCME) mission to achieve the most effective, quality healthcare by focusing on specific medical conditions and continuously improving efficiency. Brian's career includes experience at Promise Healthcare, Regency Hospital, Continental Medical Systems, RHSC (NME) and Humana where he served as CEO and COO for the company's two largest hospitals. In addition while he was a director for a national healthcare consulting firm he designed and developed hospital-in-hospital (HIH) and freestanding LTAC hospitals nationwide. Brian has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and a M.H.A. from Duke University, Durham, N.C.
