Brian Walsh is executive vice president and head of Investor Services technology division. In this role, he has responsibility for the application teams worldwide servicing State Street's Investor Services customers operating in 25 countries and more than 100 markets globally. This includes institutional portfolio accounting and investment operations recordkeeping, pricing and valuations.
In addition, Mr. Walsh manages the enterprise client integration team that serves as the primary information technology liaison to the clients. Also, he is responsible for the application teams who support securities finance and wealth manager services.
Mr. Walsh joined State Street Corporation in 1990 and has held a number of leadership positions. He has managed the development and support of numerous applications, including: State Street's Multi-currency Horizon, Global Quest and InSight. He has previously managed the custody, banking and reference applications in support of Global Services. He has had responsibility for the information technology teams globally and has been a primary point of technology contact for several of State Street's major customers.
Mr. Walsh is a graduate of Boston College with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing.
