Brian J. Tocci has joined NorthMarq Capital as Vice President and Producer in the Northern New Jersey Regional Office. Mr. Tocci is well-versed in the analysis and valuation of hotels and resorts, golf courses, office buildings, retail centers, multifamily developments, and special-use developments such as ski resorts. In his new role originating and placing debt and equity for commercial real estate, Mr. Tocci will continue to provide service to his vast base of clientele.
Prior to joining NorthMarq Capital, Inc. Mr. Tocci served as a Vice President and Senior Asset Manager for Capmark Finance Inc. where he was responsible for the asset management of a portfolio of holding position loans with an aggregate principal balance of $1.0 billion. While at Capmark, he also held positions in CMBS credit administration and securitized portfolio management where he performed underwriting for complex and high profile transactions including loan assumptions, secondary/mezzanine financing, modifications, partial releases, collateral substitutions, and lease reviews/terminations.
Before his time with Capmark Finance Inc., Mr. Tocci was a member of Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc.’s Asset Management Department where he oversaw a portfolio of 26 hotels representing over $2.0 billion in combined asset value.
Mr. Tocci began his career with Pinnacle Advisory Group, a full-service hospitality consulting firm, where he honed his skills to become an accomplished commercial real estate advisor having provided valuations and consulting services to institutional lenders, major pension funds, and developers. Mr. Tocci is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration where his studies were focused on finance and commercial real estate. |
