Brian Sokol provides over three decades of experience and leadership in fishing services and the oil and gas industry. Brian was instrumental in the creation of Knight Fishing Services in 1999 and held the position of General Manager until his promotion to Vice President in 2002. Brian has successfully led the company from a start up venture to the industry leader that Knight Fishing Services is recognized as today. Brian began work in the oil and gas industry in the late 60's. He worked in the shop of a fishing tool company and dressed fishing tools while still in High School. After High School Brian worked for a drilling contractor while attending Nicholls State University where he studied Petroleum Technology. Brian gained valuable downhole and rig experience during his drilling contractor tenure and eventually decided to return to the fishing business in the late 70's. Since Brian's beginnings in the industry he has strengthened his knowledge and expertise by serving in various positions including store manager, fishing tool supervisor, technical sales representative and vice president of operations. Brian has assembled a team of experienced, knowledgeable and motivated personnel who contribute to Knight's recognition as an industry leader for fishing tools and services. |
