Brian Robertson, President, is a native of Canada, from Fenelon Falls, Ontario. He co-founded PlanetAll, where he was chief technical officer, until Amazon.com acquired the already successful start-up in 1998. Robertson continued operating as a group program manager at Amazon.com, where he was instrumental in building both community and personalization technologies and in launching the company's toy business. Robertson also co-founded Visible Markets, an electronic trading platform for mortgage- and asset-backed securities, where he was CEO until the platform was acquired by Thomson Financial. Robertson holds a SB in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
