Brian Murphy is Chairman of Woodbury Financial Services, the broker/dealer for Hartford Life. Brian joined Woodbury Financial in 2001 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He was named President in January 2004, CEO in January 2006 and Chairman in June 2007. Brian was recently elected Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Financial Services Institute (FSI) and is a member of its Executive Committee. FSI is an organization that advocates the needs and interests of independent broker/dealers and their reps. Brian is a frequent contributor to publications such as Investment News and Financial Planning magazine on matters relating to the industry. Brian earned a bachelor s degree from Providence College, is registered with the National Association of Securities Dealers and is a Chartered Life Underwriter. |
