Brian Duperreault, 60, is president and chief executive officer of MMC, a position he assumed in January 2008. Prior to joining MMC, Mr. Duperreault served as chairman and chief executive officer of ACE Limited from 1994 to May 2004. He then served as chairman of the board of ACE from May 2004 through May 2007, and continued as a director through January 2008. Prior to ACE, Mr. Duperreault was with American International Group (AIG) for more than 20 years, holding numerous positions and eventually rising to become executive vice president of AIG Foreign General Insurance and chairman and chief executive officer of AIG's subsidiary American International Underwriters (AIU).
