Brian Deevy is chairman and chief executive officer of Daniels & Associates. He is responsible for strategic development of the firm's business, which includes mergers & acquisitions, private equity and debt capital formation and financial advisory engagements. Mr. Deevy directs the firm’s efforts for clients across several sectors of the communications industry worldwide, including cable, Satellite/DBS, programming services, wireline and wireless telecom, telecom infrastructure, Internet communications, web hosting, Internet content, radio & TV broadcasting, out-of-home advertising, publishing, software and technology. In the past ten years, he has led Daniels to a record performance of 926 completed transactions in these sectors valued at $75 billion. Mr. Deevy also has primary responsibility for Daniels’ Cable Television Group. They have engineered nearly 400 cable transactions in the past ten years, making Daniels the dominant cable financial advisor in the world, and a pioneer in the highly specialized arena of tax-free exchanges. In addition to his financial expertise, Mr. Deevy is recognized as one of the cable industry's prominent leaders. He was inducted into the Cable TV Pioneers in 2002 and received the NCTA's Vanguard Award for Associates. Mr. Deevy serves on the Board of Directors of Daniels fund, the largest foundation in the Rocky Mountain Region, established by Bill Daniels. Prior to joining Daniels, Mr. Deevy was a banking officer with Continental Bank of Chicago. He received a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth. |
