Brian has significant experience in advising management Board of Directors and counsel of companies regarding a wide range of accounting issues. He has served clients primarily in the high technology manufacturing and service industries. Brian has worked with several small to mid-size companies as well as multi-national corporations.

Prior to joining Huron Brian was a manager in both PwC's Transaction Advisory practice and the Assurance and Business Advisory practice of Arthur Andersen.

Supervised and conducted the financial statement audits of numerous public and private companies including restatements initial public offerings and other registration statements.
Performed financial due diligence on target companies for both strategic and financial buyers specifically to identify financial statement exposures purchase price mechanism consultation and evaluating managements projections and add-back adjustments.
Assisted buyers and sellers with the assessment of and negotiation of acquisition purchase price disputes.
Assisted with the response to formal and informal SEC investigations of accounting errors and irregularities.
Assisted with the response to routine SEC reviews of Form 10-K and 10-Q as well as other types of filings.

Engaged by counsel on behalf of the audit committee of a $10B publicly traded telecom company to conduct an independent investigation of the restatement of the company's financial statements specifically concerning revenue recognition.
Engaged by counsel to provide accounting advice in the criminal defense of a $700M software company's CFO.
Engaged by counsel to assist in the investigation of a restatement of the financial statements of a $400M publicly traded medical devices company.
Engaged by counsel to assist in the defense of an accounting firm related to its work for a manufacturing company.
Participated in the investigations of "whistleblower" allegations including a large multi -national software and hardware distributor.
