Brian Cavoto brings over 15 years of practical experience helping technology and communications companies apply cutting edge research techniques and methods to their toughest business questions. As Sr. Partner responsible for our technology and communications team he plays an integral role in ensuring we use the best research and science to create new insight and information. Brian has been with Momentum since 2005.Prior to joining the firm, Brian headed the Research & Analytics Group at Harte-Hanks Market Intelligence, where he led a team that conducted custom analytics and primary research for some of the worlds largest IT and telecommunications companies including Microsoft, Avaya, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, HP, and Intel. Prior to Harte-Hanks, Brian worked for start-up DiscoverWhy where he launched an Internet-based application for conducting research using streaming video. Brian also worked at SPSS, where he provided statistical and methodological consulting to clients cross industry.Brian started his career in academia, teaching classes in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology and Statistics at Tufts University and other schools in the Boston area. Brian has published numerous articles in leading psychological journals. He earned his Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Tufts University, and his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut. |
