Brian Bylenok has over 30 years of experience in communications systems engineering and design. As the former owner of an audiovisual systems design consulting and project management company, Brian brings particular strengths in commercial audio, video and control systems design/documentation/integration. From former roles as Director of Design and Senior Design Engineer, he has a demonstrated track record of success with major projects for higher education, performing arts, broadcast systems, government, corporate and retail sectors. Prior experience includes system design and commissioning for the US Naval Special Warfare Command Center in San Diego CA, Boeing Flight Safety Training facility in Miami FL, and Cox Communications’ broadcast properties in Las Vegas NV. Bylenok has commissioned systems for municipal governments including the County of Los Alamos NM and the City of Irvine CA (systems which he also designed). Higher Education projects include audiovisual design for University of Washington and Seattle University, and he has commissioned systems for Performing Arts Centers from Phoenix AZ to Olympia WA. Corporate projects range from Starbucks’ Seattle Corporate Headquarters to Microsoft’s Silicon Valley Campus in Mountain View CA. Based in The Sextant Group’s Phoenix office, Brian is a pianist, an avid hiker and skier, and has been credentialed as a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) by InfoComm International. |
