Dr. Boyle has an extensive background in operations research, engineering and finance, which he has applied to a number of business enterprises. Dr. Boyle is Vice Chairman of BCGI, a provider of call processing/access management services to the wireless telecommunications industry, and Chairman Emeritus of MicroFinancial Inc., a "micro-ticket" leasing company. Prior to that, Dr. Boyle served as Chief Executive Officer of a number of software service, telecommunications, and financial services companies. Currently, Dr. Boyle is also on the Board of several companies, including Global Services Partners Acquisition Corp., Abt Associates, Inc., and DentAMed Inc. Dr. Boyle is a graduate of Amherst College. He earned his Ph.D. in operations research, as well as several electrical engineering and computer science degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
