Brian Bouren serves as Executive Vice President and Managing Director in the firm’s San Francisco office. He is a senior professional services executive and successful entrepreneur with over 18 years of technology consulting industry experience including practice management, recruitment, sales and marketing. Prior to joining DHR International, Brian was a founding partner and Executive Consultant for Bouren Executive Search. At Bouren, he rapidly delivered economical, retained searches of the highest standard by carefully limiting the number of searches he conducted -- drawing on a large network of top quality executives amassed over the span of his extensive career. Previous to that, Brian was the Vice President of Recruitment for NerveWire, Inc., a fast-growth, Boston, MA-based, systems integration and management consulting firm. At NerveWire, he built a recruitment engine that sourced, screened and interviewed hundreds of candidates and facilitated the hiring over 300 people in less than one year. Underpinning this success was a comprehensive recruiting process which he developed to enable the firm to interview over 30 candidates per week. He also initiated a strong internal referral program that was the source for over 75% of all new employees. In addition, Brian drove multiple executive searches for an array of senior positions including CFO, Vice President of Human Resources, Vice President of Marketing, Practice Leaders and Sales Directors. Before joining NerveWire, Brian was an Executive Director with Christian & Timbers, one the Top 10 executive search firms in the United States. Based in the San Francisco, CA office, he sold and led retained, executive searches for technology product and service businesses. Prior to Christian and Timbers, Brian was Vice President of European Recruitment for Cambridge Technology Partners based in London, England where he managed and developed a team of eight recruiters who helped fuel 50% annual revenue growth by recruiting approximately 500 new employees across Europe. Before becoming part of Cambridge Technology Partners, Brian co-founded and helped build Axiom Management Consulting, Inc., a highly successful, 130-person management consulting firm, which he and his partners merged with Cambridge Technology Partners in 1995. At Axiom, he held a number of leadership positions, directed all business development and recruited the senior leadership team. |
