Brian Barnum serves as Chief Financial and Operating Officer, and acting President, of R. H. Donnelley Interactive, overseeing all aspects of corporate finance, accounting, sales and client services, legal and human resources. Brian brings more than 15 years of financial and operations management experience to Business.com, including CFO positions with high-growth, venture capital backed technology companies. Brian has successfully spearheaded venture financing rounds, an Initial Public Offering, and executed the sale of several Internet/Technology companies. The Los Angeles Business Journal named Brian 2007 CFO of the Year for private companies with revenues up to $100 million. Prior to joining Business.com, Brian was CFO of Rent.com, where he prepared the Company for an IPO while managing an M&A process which culminated in an acquisition by eBay valued at approximately $415 million. Prior to that success, Brian served as CFO at UFO Communications, where he executed two venture financings and spearheaded the sale of the broadband services provider to Cogent Communications. Brian also served as the CFO of TNS Inc. (NYSE: TNS), taking the company through an IPO, a follow on equity offering and executing several strategic acquisitions. Brian has held positions in Corporate Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions with Bankers Trust and Alex. Brown & Sons.Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California in Los Angeles. |
