Brian Bailey joined Lender Finance in 2007 as an Originations Liaison specializing in originating and structuring financings for high yield and emerging asset classes. Bailey spent 7 years at ORIX Finance and ORIX Capital Markets, eventually becoming head of the Structured Products Group and a member of the investment committee. As head of the Structured Products Group at ORIX, Bailey was responsible for new business development, credit underwriting, and portfolio management. Prior to that he was a Principal and Vice President of Seaboard & Company LLC, a mid-sized hedge fund, where he oversaw the day to day trading of the $600 million high yield bond and loan portfolio and structured a $300 million CLO. Seaboard & Company was later retained to manage the $1.5 billion corporate investment portfolio of ORIX USA. Bailey is a native of South Carolina and received his BBA with a concentration in Quantitative Finance and Mathematics from the Honors College at the College of Charleston. |
