Brian T. Johnson
Business Litigation
Brian T. Johnson is a business litigator and trial lawyer. Prior to joining Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP, he practiced at Thompson Hine LLP in Cleveland, Ohio and Baker & Hostetler LLP in Columbus. He is responsible for handling a variety of complex business and commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts, before regulatory agencies, and through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, including arbitration and mediation. Mr. Johnson emphasizes trial and appellate advocacy in the areas of business tort litigation, contract disputes, class action litigation, ERISA, bad faith claim denial, and construction disputes. Mr. Johnson is a member the American, Ohio, and Columbus Bar Associations and the firm's Business Litigation practice group.
Mr. Johnson is a 1989 graduate of Wheaton College (B.A.), 1992 graduate of Trinity Divinity School (M.Div.), and 1995 graduate cum laude, of the University of Notre Dame Law School (J.D.). He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Ohio, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio. |
