Brian Ocheltree serves as DoublePositive’s Vice President of Business Development. He is responsible for developing strategic relationships for the company, and leading DoublePositive's programs in various industries. Brian founded his first business, Micropro Consultants, in 1983 while completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park. In 1988, Micropro Consultants was acquired by Friedman & Fuller, PC, a public accounting firm in Rockville, MD. In 1992 he founded e.magination, a Maryland based application development firm. As e.magination's CEO, Brian lead the firm to becoming a Microsoft Gold Certified partner, and a Managed Microsoft Partner in both the commercial and public sector verticals with a staff of over 110 full time professionals. Brian sold e.magination in 2004 and later launched PartnerPoint, which provides portal and community services to Microsoft and its partner community. PartnerPoint quickly became the largest community of Microsoft Partners worldwide with over 5,000 active members. The company was acquired in 2006. Brian serves as a Board Member or Advisor for several private corporate entities, and has been a member of two Microsoft Partner Advisory Councils. |
