Mr. Cohen most recently served as president and chief executive officer of Strategic Growth Advisors (SGA), a firm he founded to help large and small companies accelerate growth and increase their revenue. Prior to SGA, Mr. Cohen served nine years at The Farmers Insurance Group of Companies where he held a variety of leadership and strategic positions. During his tenure, he served as president and a member of the Board of Directors of Farmers Financial Solutions (FFS), where he founded Farmers' highly successful financial services division. He then assumed the role of senior vice president of sales and marketing and chief marketing officer for the Farmers Insurance Group of Companies. In his role, he led a 13,000 strong captive agent sales team and was instrumental in generating record sales for the organization. Before joining Farmers, Mr. Cohen was senior vice president of corporate and legal affairs at Banner Holdings Incorporated, a diversified retail and financial services company that catered to the Latino market. A subject matter expert on financial services marketing and sales issues, Mr. Cohen is a trusted source for numerous industry and consumer publications. He has spoken at various industry conferences and has authored articles published in Advisor Today, Agent's Sales Journal, National Underwriter and LIMRA's MarketFacts Magazine. In addition, Mr. Cohen served on the Editorial Advisory Board of CMO Magazine. He is a former Certified Public Accountant and attorney who earned his business degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a law degree from the University of Southern California. |
