Brian P. McGraw practices in the firm’s intellectual property and litigation section, concentrating on trademark, unfair competition, advertising, copyright law and the Internet. Mr. McGraw focuses on the prosecution of trademark applications (in the U.S. and throughout the world) and the litigation of trademark and unfair competition disputes. Mr. McGraw also handles disputes over the use of domain names through the World Intellectual Property Organization’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Center. In addition, Mr. McGraw handles the prosecution of copyright applications and regularly counsels clients in all aspects of intellectual property protection and enforcement.During law school, Mr. McGraw won the National Championship in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition in Trademark Law, winning various awards for oral advocacy and brief writing. While in law school Mr. McGraw served as an associate justice on John Marshall’s Moot Court Executive Board. In addition, Mr. McGraw received the Dean’s Certificate for Outstanding Academic Performance in Intellectual Property law.Mr. McGraw is a member of the International Trademark Association, American Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and the Louisville Bar Association (Intellectual Property Law Section Chair). |
