Mr. Brian Bauer has more than 25 years experience in the software systems integration space and is currently the Vice President of Technical Infrastructure at Flextronics. Prior to Flextronics, Mr. Bauer was Vice President of IT products and solutions at Interwoven. He is responsible for driving all product, channel, and go-to-market programs for Interwoven's content solutions for government and the content distribution and content intelligence product lines. Previously at Cadence Design, Mr. Bauer was nominated for the Salomon Smith Barney CIO of the Year Award Report 2001 when he served as the Corporate Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Cadence Design is a $1.4B global supplier of electronic design technologies and services, and was ranked No. 41 out of the 500 Most Innovative Companies (Information Week 2002). Before Cadence Mr. Bauer was Managing Director E-business Group, Fleet Operations, United Air Lines, and he also served as the Vice President of IT at United Airlines where he managed over $3B/year in inventory, from engines to planes and other large assets. Previously Director, Systems Integration Services at TASC, and Managing Director, Consulting Services & Software at Symbolics, Mr. Bauer is also a member of the advisory boards of Hewlett Packard, Intransa, Arrowpath, E*Trade and Outlook Ventures. Mr. Bauer was educated at San Francisco State University gaining a B.S. in Mathematics, and an M.S. in Operations Research Course Work from George Washington University. |
