Brian M. Goodwin has practiced law in Phoenix, Arizona for 38 years. Mr. Goodwin has tried to completion more than 80 jury trials and more than 100 contested matters. He has supervised litigation and administrative matters for clients in 37 states and has appeared for clients in litigated matters in 23 different states.
Mr. Goodwin served as Managing Partner of the Arizona law office from 1986 through 2006 and is a former senior partner of the Lewis and Roca law firm, where he headed the litigation section.

NOTABLE EXPERIENCE
Mr. Goodwin is also a professionally trained mediator and has served as a judge pro tempore with the Maricopa County Superior Court from 1982 to 2005. He currently conducts private mediations.
Mr. Goodwin has served as president and general counsel for a client restaurant chain and on the Advisory Board of a client insurance company. He is presently on the Board of Directors of UMB Bank of Arizona and is on the Northwestern Univesity School of Law board. Mr. Goodwin has provided expert consulting and expert witness testimony for legal malpractice and liquor liability cases in several states.
Mr. Goodwin has been a guest lecturer, including courtroom demonstrations, at The Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, Northwestern University School of Law, and the Arizona State University School of Business Administration. He has also conducted numerous lectures and courtroom demonstrations for the Arizona State and Maricopa County Bar Associations.
