Mr. Cooke has been in private practice for more than 20 years, most recently with Arnstein & Lehr LLP.
He practices corporate, transactional and securities law, as well as in the areas of commercial litigation, securities arbitration, employment, and family law.
He has handled a broad range of sophisticated business transactions including stock and asset acquisitions and dispositions for major privately-held and publicly-held businesses; mergers and consolidations of businesses; private placement offerings; and complex debt re-financings.
Mr. Cooke has represented clients in the formation and operation of Small Business Investment Companies in New Jersey and Florida; the acquisition of commercial lending institutions; and the formation and operation of a restaurant franchise system.
In regard to litigation, Mr. Cooke has had extensive experience in matrimonial and custody issues; issues pertaining to both the drafting and enforcement of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements; domestic violence matters and business valuation issues.
