Brian Schoenborn is managing partner of Leonard, Street and Deinard’s Saint Cloud, Minnesota, office, where he focuses his practice on family and closely held businesses. Brian has substantial experience providing general counsel representation to closely held and family businesses within sports and entertainment; high technology; and manufacturing industries. This experience includes business acquisitions and sales, intellectual property protection, real estate development and estate planning. He is also deeply involved in sports facility development.
Brian is a member of the United States Hockey League Board of Directors and co-owner of the Sioux Falls Stampede of the United States Hockey League. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member at St. Cloud State University, where he teaches courses in law and entrepreneurship.
Brian is very active with various community and civic organizations including serving on the Minnesota Real Estate Foundation, Central Minnesota Community Foundation Board of Trustees and Brian Klinefelter Memorial Foundation Board. In 2006, he was named by the Saint Cloud Times and ROI magazine as one of the Top 5 business people under the age of 40 in Central Minnesota. He recently was honored with the President’s Award from Minnesota Hockey for his dedication to amateur hockey, including serving as legal counsel for nearly a decade. Brian also has been named a "Rising Star" by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine.
