By providing sound legal guidance, Brian has provided his clients with assistance in entity selection and formation, development of new markets and products, public offerings and private placements, regulatory compliance, licensing, contracting, and asset and stock acquisition transactions. His experience with start-up ventures and longstanding enterprises has given him a thorough understanding of the needs that arise in today’s competitive marketplace.Brian has also assisted both national and local retail businesses and developers take their projects from start to finish. His extensive real estate experience enables him to resolve real estate issues involving documentation, loan closings, real estate tax assessments, acquisitions, title insurance, zoning, land use, and foreclosures. He has worked closely with developers and lenders, as well as commercial realtors on various aspects of real estate finance. His work also has enabled him to gain valuable experience working with several financial institutions in the documentation of new loans and modification of existing loans, as well as work-out and debtor-in-possession financing.Brian received his Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law, cum laude. While in law school, he served as Executive Recent Decisions Editor of the Duquesne Law Review and Editor-in-Chief of the Business Law Journal. Brian earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown and attained magna cum laude distinction. He is a member of Phi Alpha Delta, a professional and honorary legal fraternity. |
