Mr. Gowland is a retired banker with over 38 years of service to the San Diego community. Since his retirement, he has served as a Director of Peninsula Bank of San Diego and served on the Advisory Board for U.S. Bank. Mr. Gowland’s noted banking career included eighteen years as an executive with San Diego Trust and Savings Bank, including three years as the Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for San Diego Trust and Savings Bank.
Mr. Gowland has an extensive history of community involvement. He is the past Chairman of the San Diego County Chapter American Heart Association and was a past board member of the San Diego Community Foundation, Institute of Certified Bankers (ABA) and Museum of Man.
Mr. Gowland is a graduate of Duke University School of Business and San Diego State University School of Business. |
