Brian provides ETI with an abundance of software and project management know-how. He has 13 years of experience with complex real-time software development, spanning the entire development cycle from requirements capture through deployment and support. Areas of particular expertise are image processing, video compression and real-time control systems. Brian's previous roles include Director of Software Engineering at Pixelworks, where he led development of a next-generation Software Development Kit (SDK) for ImageProcessor ICs. Before this Brian worked as an engineer and team leader at Rockwell Collins developing navigation, guidance and sensor control software for military transport aircraft. Mr. Lewis earned a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. Mr. Lewis is obsessed with video compression. Really; we're not kidding here. The best Elemental quote we could get from him was "less bits is more good". Left to his own devices he'd probably think about it in his spare time too, but for the sake of balance we have him go hiking once in a while. |
