Brian F. Chase is a Vice President focusing on infrastructure opportunities. He is based in Washington, DC.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Chase practiced law within the Infrastructure Group at Nossaman, Guthner, Knox & Elliott. At that firm, he assisted public owners and private investors with the development and financing of large surface transportation projects in states such as Texas, Virginia, Florida, Indiana, California, Georgia, North Carolina, Delaware and Maryland. Most recently, he played a key role on behalf of the Virginia Department of Transportation in its $611 million re-financing of the Pocahontas Parkway concession project. Mr. Chase also has provided advice to the U.S. Department of Transportation in its efforts to better understand the key policy issues associated with legislation to facilitate public-private partnerships. Prior to joining the Nossaman firm, Mr. Chase spent several years with two other large U.S. law firms with an emphasis on global project finance and infrastructure-related M&A transactions involving the development, purchase, sale or reorganization of water and wastewater, airport and telecommunications assets in Latin America and in Central and Eastern Europe.
Mr. Chase earned a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. |
