Brian D. Poe, Esq. is Director of Legal Recruiting at BG Search Associates. Brian is a graduate of Florida State University, where he earned his B.S. in 3 years, majoring in Multinational Business Operations. He is also a graduate of the University of Georgia (M.B.A.), and University of Virginia School of Law (J.D.). He is formerly President of the University of Virginia School of Law's Sports and Entertainment Law Forum. Prior to joining BG Search, Brian was Senior Attorney for Delta Air Lines, Inc. in Atlanta. He also is formerly an Associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius (Washington, D.C.) and Troutman Sanders (Atlanta), and he clerked at King & Spalding (Atlanta) and Brooks, Pierce, McClendon, Humphrey & Leonard (Greensboro, NC) law firms as a law student. In all of his prior legal positions, Brian was involved in and passionate about recruiting. At BG Search, Brian has been very successful at all levels of legal recruiting and attorney placements, including new business development, individual partner placements in national law firms, relocations, as well as high-profile attorney placements at law firms and Fortune 500 companies. He has lectured on national panels with respect to diversity recruiting and other aspects of legal recruiting. Brian is originally from Atlanta, and his current interests include filmmaking and sports. For the last three years through present, he has served as General Counsel of The Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Prior to law school, Brian was an auditor with the United States Department of Labor for two years.
