Brian Anderson's practice includes trademark, copyright, and unfair competition matters. A former Trademark Examining Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office ("PTO"), he brings a knowledge of the PTO processes, in both ex parte and inter partes proceedings, to his work on behalf of domestic and international clients.
Mr. Anderson represents clients before the federal courts and administrative tribunals and has significant appellate experience before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He chaired the International Trademark Association's (INTA) Patent and Trademark Office Committee from 1988-90 and helped implement the intent-to-use provisions of the Trademark Law Revision Act of 1988. He is an active member of INTA's Task Force on Alternate Dispute Resolution and counsels clients in creative dispute avoidance and dispute resolution techniques. He has published articles on trademark law for the International Trademark Association and National Association of Manufacturers.
Mr. Anderson received his Law degree from Nova University Law Center and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida.
Mr. Anderson is admitted to the District of Columbia, Virginia and Florida Bars, and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
