Brian C. Muraresku is an associate in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP and a member of the Global Project Finance Group. Mr. Muraresku has represented project sponsors and financial institutions in numerous domestic and international project financings and structured financings.
On the sponsor side, Mr. Muraresku's recent experience includes the representation of the sponsors and equity investors in the development and financing of the PDET oil transport project (Brazil); the sponsor and the project company in the acquisition and financing of a portfolio of rail cars (Mexico); and the project company Saudi Ethylene and Polyethylene Company ("SEPC") in the financing of a $2.6 billion shared ethane cracker/polyethylene processing facility (Saudi Arabia).
On the lender side, Mr. Muraresku's recent experience includes the representation of the lenders in a senior unsecured credit facility to finance and develop electricity generation assets for a wholesale electric power generation and transmission cooperative corporation (United States); the lenders in connection with the project financing of a hydroelectric generation facility (Panama); the lenders in the project financing of a toll road (Panama); and the lead arrangers and the lenders in the amended and restated $1.5 billion senior secured credit facility used for the construction of a liquefied natural gas ("LNG") receiving terminal in Louisiana (United States).
Mr. Muraresku received a B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, from Brown University and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Muraresku is admitted to practice in New York. Mr. Muraresku is fluent in Spanish. |
