Brian C. Corneilson practices in the firm’s litigation section, concentrating in the areas of commercial litigation and employment law. Prior to joining Middleton Reutlinger, Mr. Corneilson completed twenty years of service in the United States Army and attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He joined the Army as an aviator in 1985 and flew Black Hawk helicopters for the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky until 1989.In 1993, Mr. Corneilson graduated from Harvard Law School and transferred to the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps. His subsequent assignments included the 1st Infantry Division, the 10th Mountain Division, the US Army Armor Center at Fort Knox, and the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. From May 2004 to June 2005, he was the senior legal advisor in northern Iraq. Mr. Corneilson began his extensive litigation practice by prosecuting criminal cases under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. He later defended the Department of the Army in federal district and appellate courts against claims of employment discrimination. |
