Brian A. Whitmire, is a Managing Director for Bay4 Capital. Mr. Whitmire has over fifteen years experience in the financial service industry. Prior to joining Bay4, Mr. Whitmire was Chief Investment Officer for GATX Capital’s Technology business unit, one of the industry’s largest independent technology leasing companies. In this position, Mr. Whitmire was responsible for the overall investment strategy for GATX Technology Services. His primary duties included the management of Credit, Pricing, Funding, and Transaction Approval for the Technology group’s North American operations as well as coordinating investment activities for joint ventures in Europe and Australia.
Prior to his role as Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Whitmire held the position of Managing Director, responsible for the Technology group’s North American Sales and Marketing operations as well as overseeing the functional areas of Credit, Pricing, and Funding of lease transactions.
From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Whitmire was Vice President, Marketing, with responsibilities including development and implementation of the Company’s sales and marketing plan, as well as pricing and structuring of all lease transactions.
From 1991 to 1995, Mr. Whitmire held various positions as part of the management team of Sun Financial Group, Inc., prior to its merger into GATX Capital. Mr. Whitmire began his career with Sun in 1988, as a Regional Sales Manager.
Mr. Whitmire received his BA in Economics from Davidson College. |
