Brett White became Chief Executive Officer of CB Richard Ellis in June 2005. He has responsibility for directing global business activities for the world's largest commercial real estate services firm, with 2007 revenues of more than $6.0 billion and over 29,000 employees (excluding affiliate and partner offices). Mr. White was previously President of the company. In 1991 Mr. White entered management as sales manager in the San Diego downtown office. From 1991 to 2001 Mr. White held a number of management positions, including Managing Director-Newport Beach, Regional Manager-Los Angeles, President-Brokerage and Chairman-The Americas. In 2001 Mr. White was named President of the Company. He has been a member of the firm's Board of Directors since 1998 and the Executive Committee since 1999. Mr. White serves on the Board of Directors of Edison International and Southern California Edison. He has been involved in a number of civic and charitable organizations including the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art and Junior Achievement. He received the Brokerage Executive of the Year award in 2005 and Real Estate Industry Executive of the Year and Brokerage Executive of the Year awards in 2006 from Commercial Property News. |
