Brett was hired in 2001 to create and develop the in-house Physician Recruitment Program for the Clarian Statewide System. He has over ten years experience working with physicians and hospital executives. He is an active leader in his profession at both the national and local level. He is currently serving a two year term on the Board of Directors for ASPR (Association Staff Physician Recruiters). Brett is also an active member of the ASPR Regional Development Committee where he has taken a leadership role to help organize physician recruitment within Indiana. He is a frequent source to medical journals and articles on topics and trends related to physician recruitment. In addition, he often presents at conferences and educational forums throughout the United States on various topics related to healthcare recruitment and retention
