Brett Goldblatt is a partner in the Global Corporate Department of the Los Angeles office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP.
Mr. Goldblatt represents investment funds, fund sponsors, companies and investment banks in a wide variety of other business matters, including joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, fund formation, debt and equity offerings in the public and private markets, and general corporate and contractual matters. He specializes in joint ventures, private equity investments, and mergers and acquisitions involving distressed companies in and out of bankruptcy and companies in the alternative energy sector.
Mr. Goldblatt has been teaching corporate transactions as an Adjunct Professor at UCLA Law School since 2002. He also authored an article on exit strategies in Chapter 11 bankruptcies (American Bankruptcy Institute Journal, October 2004) and co-authored two articles on fairness opinions in mergers and acquisition transactions (ABA's Business Law Today, August 2003 and California Lawyer, July 2003).
Mr. Goldblatt is a member of the State Bar of California and the State Bar of New York. He is also a member of the Partnerships and Limited Liability Companies Committee of the State Bar of California. Mr. Goldblatt received his law degree in 1997 from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he graduated with honors. Mr. Goldblatt received a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Philosophy and Psychology from Rutgers College at Rutgers University. |
