Brett Brown is a managing director in the Los Angeles office of Major, Lindsey & Africa. The focus of his recruiting practice is matching talented associates with interesting in-house and law firm opportunities.
Before joining MLA, Brett was a tax and estate planning associate at the law firm of Randall McDowell, a well regarded boutique tax practice in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon his relocation to Southern California, Brett accepted a position with Morgan Stanley.
Brett received his J.D. in 1998 with Dean’s list honors from Temple University School of Law. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and English with a minor in ethics from King’s College in Pennsylvania, where he graduated summa cum laude and was an academic all-American swimmer and co-captain of the men’s volleyball team.
Brett and his wife Robyn (Sr. Counsel at Amgen) spend their free time with their daughter Hayley. Brett enjoys skiing, snowboarding and is an avid speed skater. |
