Brett L. Reed is a Director of ERS Group, and manages the intellectual property practice and the Los Angeles office. He specializes in economic analyses related to intellectual property valuation, reasonable royalties and lost profits, as well as damages associated with antitrust, false advertising, fraud, and business interference claims. An economic consultant since 1984, he has prepared over 100 expert reports and provided expert testimony, case management, and consulting assistance on a wide range of cases, with an emphasis on complex matters in high-technology industries such as semiconductors, computers, medical equipment, and biotechnology. Mr. Reed has presented expert testimony in numerous venues, including testimony on patent infringement damages in U.S. District Court in Texas, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Jersey and California. He holds an M.A. in economics from the University of California at Los Angeles and a B.A. in economics from the University of California at Irvine. |
