Brent Whisenant is a Managing Director with The Carlyle Group in San Francisco, focused on investment opportunities in business services and software. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Whisenant worked in investment banking at Robertson Stephens & Company in San Francisco, practiced law with the firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York City, and practiced with Price Waterhouse as a CPA. Mr. Whisenant also worked as vice president of Corporate Development with Campus Pipeline (acquired by SCT Corporation). Mr. Whisenant received his J.D. from Columbia Law School and his B.S. from Brigham Young University and serves on the boards of directors of DHS Technologies, Mainstream Data, USBX, and Liquid Engines.
