Mr. Rosenthal represents businesses and individuals in general business and commercial real estate matters.
Focusing on the special needs of closely held and family businesses, his general business practice emphasizes: corporation, limited liability company, and partnership law; entity selection, formation and planning; contracts and commercial law; complex business and commercial transactions; mergers and acquisitions; business planning; succession planning and implementation; and franchising and distribution law.
Mr. Rosenthal's real estate representation emphasizes commercial real estate law, including acquisition, sales and other complex transactions planning and implementation; leasing; development; financing; zoning and land use; real estate taxation; annexation; eminent domain; and condominium law.
Mr. Rosenthal earned his Juris Doctor degree with honors from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1984, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif honorary society. He also earned a Masters Degree in City and Regional Planning from OSU in 1980.
Mr. Rosenthal has been awarded the highest rating of professional excellence, AV, by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. He was one of the first lawyers to be certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a specialist in Business, Commercial and Industrial Real Property Law.
Mr. Rosenthal, his wife and three daughters, reside in Westerville, Ohio where he has long been active in community and civic matters.
